ALASH at KIOGE 2017

The 25th edition of the Kazakhstan International Oil and Gas Exhibition (KIOGE) took place in Almaty from the 4th to the 6th of October at the Atakent Exhibition Center. The exhibition held a record number of stands this year with 353 companies participating, and was attended by 3865 visitors. 

Algoritmi KZ and ALASH participated to the event with a stand in Pavilion 9B, and held two seminar sessions on the 4th and 5th of October. NCOC’s and TCO’s representatives were present at the seminars, and spoke about their involvement in the ALASH project, and how both companies make use of the database to search for local and International Suppliers. Both sessions were attended by Suppliers, which in turn were given the chance to ask questions to the ALASH team, NCOC and TCO representatives.  

TCO were present at the exhibition with their own stand, and held a forum in the afternoon of the 4th where they presented to suppliers their plans for the Future Growth Project and Wellhead Pressure Management Project and an overview pre-qualification process.  

In the afternoon of the 4th of October NCOC also held a forum about procurement, vendor qualification procedures, tenders and local content, where they dedicated part of the presentation to the ALASH system, spoke about their involvement in the project and recommended Suppliers to register.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the event, the ALASH team provided tickets to its verified Suppliers that were interested in attending the forum, and a special poster for its suppliers which held a stand at the exhibition. Foreign Enterprise Borusan Makina Kazakhstan LLP exposed both their ALASH registration certificate and the ALASH Verified Supplier poster on their stand in Pavilion 9B, in which they presented to other potential Suppliers their extended experience and qualifications in maintenance and repairs of engines and generators. 

The KIOGE conference and exhibition will return in Almaty in October 2018.
